TradeTravelJournal|JLL Philippines receives international certifications for quality management and occupational health & safety|The Project and Development Services (PDS) Department of JLL Philippines—the country’s premier real estate services firm—recently received two international certifications for upholding high standard of quality management and occupational health and safety systems.
Bureau Veritas, a certification services company, awarded JLL’s PDS team two International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications for the quality management and occupational health and safety management systems applied to the team’s project management and quantity surveying services for commercial, industrial, retails, hospitality, education, residential, entertainment, and infrastructure construction projects.
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) is issued to companies that consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. On the other hand, ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) is for companies that provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, and by proactively improving its occupational health and safety performance.
“These certifications are a validation of the highest standards we uphold in providing project management and quantity surveying services for our clients,” said John Morgan, JLL Philippines’ PDS Operations Director. “It demonstrates the strength of knowledge of our team and our steadfast commitment to meet our clients’ real estate requirements and to maintain their trust.”
Tim Treverton, JLL Southeast Asia Operation Director for Project & Development Services, said, “Receiving these certifications is testimony of the quality management and occupation health and safety standards we uphold not only in the Philippines but across our regional and global operations.”
