Many people in Zambales benefit from the TUPAD program. The purpose of the TUPAD project is to provide temporary employment to our countrymen who cannot find permanent employment due to the current pandemic.
In Barangay Angeles San Antonio, Zambales, on November 17, the Construction Workers Solidarity party-list joined Gov. Jun Ebdane and his staff for the blessing and inauguration of the area’s multi-purpose building.
The party-list also held a game and contest to bring fun and help to the people of Zambales.
The CWS party-list and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also went to Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas, on November 20 to distribute the PAYOUT to 81 TUPAD project beneficiaries. With the help of DOLE, CWS implemented the TUPAD program in Mataas na kahoy, Batangas.
On November 26, CWS distributed 650 packets of face masks and food to fellow construction workers in Sta. Clara International Corp. in Bulacan. This is part of their outreach to workers in the construction industry.
In Pili, Laguna, Construction Workers Solidarity officials, along with mayor Edgardo Ramos and town officials, distributed financial assistance from the DSWD which was greatly appreciated by the people there.
Just last week, the CWS group returned to Tanauan to meet with volunteers and give them fun.
The CWS Party-List aims to be the voice of construction workers, safety officers, engineers and other parts of the Philippine construction industry.
Construction Workers wants the party-list as a pillar for their needs since it was founded 30 years ago.
